Eartrainer : Frequently Asked Questions

Does Eartrainer work on all browsers ?

 

Eartrainer works in all browsers. However, we have noticed that some versions of Safari (Sequoia Operating system) seem to give problems. If you experience problems in Safari (like images that do not appear, slow build-up of screens. missing buttons etc. ) we recommend that you update to the very latest version of the operating system. This solves these display problems. Alternatively, you can run Eartrainer in another browser like Chrome or Firefox.

 

Why does Eartrainer not remember my scores ?

 

In order for your scores to be registered, you have to complete a full set of exercises. This will automatically save your scores. Eartrainer will NOT save your scores if you leave in the middle of an exercise. You also have to make sure that you quit the program by clicking the < EXIT > button in the bottom left corner of the main Eartrainer screen. If you quit Eartrainer in any other way (e.g. by clicking the red cross as one often does in other programs) your scores will be lost. 

What if I can't remember my password ?

 

Click the "I forgot my password" link on the Eartrainer log-in screen. You will be sent a new password by email. Please do also check your spam folders to retrieve this email. You can change the password again at a later stage into something that you can remember easily. Be  bit patient, it may take a while before the email arrives because it requires human intervention.
