North Wind and the Sun in Catalan.

Catalan is a Romance language which is spoken by approximately 4 million people in southeastern Spain (Catalonia) and adjoining regions in France. According to Carbonell et al. (1999) Catalan has 7 vowels and 22 consonants. This translation of the North Wind and the Sun was recorded in the Phonetics Laboratory of Edinburgh University in 1952. The speaker is unknown. The original handbook of the IPA did not contain an entry on Catalan.
